Anyone know how strict Pine Knob (DTE) is with their no alcohol policy?

As long as you put it in a plastic cup, you're good to go.....the Pine Knob tailgating is excellent -- you should have a great time

What is the tailgating like at Pine Knob? Are we allowed in the parking lot and if so what time do the doors open?
