:o

SOB can play some golf, can't he??? :D

I was hoping Rocco would hold him off. Won't get to watch much of the playoff tomorrow, if any at all. Guess Tiger will get his 14th major. I don't see him losing the playoff.

Amazing...I am not even a golf fan but I watched just about the whole day today. Was there ever any doubt Tiger was going to sink that on 18? Not really! And is there any chance he loses on Monday? Not likely.

But, Why Why Why do the people in the gallery have to yell "Get in the Hole" after every shot...... it is ridiculous. :roll:

I said the same thing a few days ago (though I really do know the difference, and do watch some golf, I love the tennis US Open!)

Now if we can only find some strong players...the US is kind of in a black hole these days. Who'd a thunk it? :-?

As for golf...I can't think of too many other people I'd like to see in the playoff besides Rocco. He's a good guy and I hope he does give Tiger a run for his money. Either way I'll be happy with the outcome. :)

Yeah, its the US Open and Tiger Woods is in play off to win his 14th major. I'm would imagine the ratings would be higher than guiding light and the ellen show.
I know I dont get there often enough but god knows I surely try

Congrats Tiger! And way to challenge, Rocco! It would have been cool to see Rocco win, but you can't begrudge Tiger's chance to chase history.

Two great players, my hat's off to them. :D

SON OF A (*&&*%^!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely unreal. Loses 4 strokes in 4 or 5 holes, pulls on out to tie it up AGAIN on 18.

How did they pick 7 as the first playoff hole??? Bad break for Rocco. He's stank up the joint all weekend on 7...Tiger's played it well.

Ah well. Heluva run. Tiger won that one the hard way.

i don't think he blew it there!!! he wasn't making the green in 2 anyways!!...i think he lost it on Sunday on either the 16th or 17th hole when he missed a short birdie putt!!...but it was great great tournament!!...Rocco never gave into the Tiger Mystique!!

For a final note. Tuesday at Torrey Pines was reserved for a limited charity event but Wed was day one open to the public again. No tee times could be reserved for today. To get a time you ad to be in line when the started booth opened at 6 am. People began lining up at noon Tuesday and slept in their cars to ensure a prised tee time. The pins were placed back to Sundays final round and you could for $45 (as a SD resident) play the same course under the same conditions as the US Open's final round. How cool is that! :D
