the latter is already overrun with criminals and immigrants. The Aborigines have been trying to get rid of them for centuries.
and you have been here and know this as a fact

I think if you were to look at numbers of numbers of immigrants - particularly illegal - that USA would win that ... and also with criminals ....

Majority of Australians are free settlers - we have a lower crime rate than the USA ....

My post was put with humour - I see your post as offensive toward my country.
obviously someone doesn't know their own country's history...

and not my fault you can't see the dry, wry, acerbic wit in the post about being overrun by criminals and immigrants.

I'll take Nantucket, Massachusetts any day. Not one traffic light. Not one neon sign. No mini malls. Plenty of propert restrictions so people can't overbuild or pollute with boats that are too big (although Jimmy Buffett breaks this law annually  ) Best airquality you can find that is not Northern Alaska . . . (I am moving to Southern Alaska soon so I am getting close . . . ) - - - cheap beer. Most bars don't even have credit card machines so that worthless stress can be eliminated. I highly recommend a visit.
Yep = we are clever and around 80% live within 30 minutes of the ocean :P

just like us Nantucket folk - - - great minds think alike (although we are never 2 minutes away from the ocean but that is just semantics . . )
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

My office is on Boston Harbor.... and I live 6 miles from the ocean. :P :P
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

It is nice living in a low populated land ..... makes it easier to live where you want! :D

I love lists like this..
with enough time.. (and grant money)
I too could draw up a list of Variables
that would show that (insert city, town, country)
was the best.. :-? :-?
let's see.. How is the Hunting within two hours of any city in the top twenty?? Fishing? How close does Jimmy Buffett play??
Gun laws?? four seasons??
how are the Traffic lights set??
are their bike paths??
Strip Bars??
How many of my Friends live close?

come on.. these lists are nothing more than Advertisements..
