Tickets Released For Philly

Post by ParrotheadPeteNJ »

Just received a message from Comcast saying they released seats due to production changes. Pulled up 2 in section 132 row 2. If in the area I suggest trying eBay for discounted tickets though (and have them overnighted-or pick up in person) as many shows are not selling well-Jimmy and overall. Sea y'all tomorrow-will be in the tailgating lot with the Rutgers block R flag-and perhaps we'll try to crash the meet the meetthephlockers.com party. 8)

Pete, I just went to comcasttix and I was able to pull up 100 level seating. I already have field tickets, so I don't think this is much of an upgrade. Ridiculous that everyone tries so hard to get them and then they release extra tickets the day before. I hate comcast tix!

If they are to release "new" tickets due to "production changes" why wait until 1 day before the show????????

I know nothing about the "ticket biz", but to me it just sounds like the Philly show isn't the "sellout" that Comcast has been reporting for months now. After quickly looking at broker sites & Ebay it looks likes those fans that waited to get their tickets in the lot at CBP may be in for some genuine "bargains" tomorrow night....... :o

Ticket Market

Post by ParrotheadPeteNJ »

The ticket market is very weak right now. In the past it tanked when gas hit $3.00-now approaching $5. I have 2 tickets for James Taylor at the Borgata for tonight that I still have-usually good seat for JT are snapped up close to day 1 of sales.

Just packing a bit for tonight and can see how many cannot afford including myself. Tix and parking were at least $150. Bought $21 worth of wings (unnecessary). $5 in drinks (not including the Landshark Lager I bought two months ago), $11 in cookies and cakes, another $5 for muffins an brownies if I make and $12 or so in gas for the buddies-that's about $205 even Before my usual $75 in merchandise I purchase and food.

PHarmD-we're also in the front field but other may have decided to go last minute.
