It was my esteemed pleasure to meet Lulu for the 1st time in New Orleans last month - what a super cool lady!! She's just as friendly, personable, and witty as can be! I cannot wait to see her on the Today Show!! :D :D

I'll need to put this on the calender. I have her cookbook, and there are a lot of recipes in that book that I want to try out.

She did an interview on RadioJimmyDreamz a while back, and I enjoyed the interview. She sounds so cool.

I love the book. Besides the recipes the book has that personal family touch such as the introduction written by Jimmy and the letters written by Lucy and her daughters. There is a lot of love there.

This should be fun. Lucy is great to talk to. I hope they let her lead the
conversation. Kathy Lee could ruin the whole thing if she's on there.

LOL! I agree, I think LuLu will handle Kathy Lee just fine. Kathy Lee makes me really want to barf. She defines the word fake for me, and fake people get on my nerves.

Also, I hope that the main focus of the interview will be on Lucy and her book. Sure, the asking of one or two questions about her brother is going to happen, but I hope they stick to the subject of this book.

That's exactly why I want her to take charge of the conversation. She's such
a fun, interesting person in her own right, I don't want all the talk to be about
Bubba. (It's like every interview Jimmy does ends up being the same because
of the insipid questions people ask. ) Come to think of it, Miss Lucy would
make a great talk show host.

As it stands now, I have no plans that week so I'll be at work. Should I stand outside the Today Show and stalk Lucy?

Well, Mr. Mac will be hovering over her. He's nowhere near as imposing a
figure as Charleston, but he is more personally vested, so he'd definitely
be a deterrent to any inappropriate interaction... But yeah, you should.

I'm pretty sure Kathy Lee is only on the 4th hour of the Today Show. With any luck Lucy will be on sometime in the first 3 hours and won't have to deal with the annoying b*tch.
