This show, along with Hyannis and Cohasset, would be a nice road trip.

Trouble with Hyannis and Cohasset is that both conflict with Jake Shimabukuro in Fall River and in Newburyport, so gotta see Little Feat on Friday.

Great music weekend coming up in New England!

I will be at Cohassett . . . don't really recommend Hyannis if any of you have a choice on where to go to see Little Feat out of the three shore shows next weekend. Hampton Beach is nice - sort of . . . but there are bars (le Bec Rouge is the sh*t) that are cheap and clean water to swim in before the show. Hyannis is just a hassle. I travel through there a ton to get home to Nantucket and you just don't want to do it. Especially with Cape traffic on a saturday.

I saw Little Feat two summers back out at the Chicken Box. Jimmy Buffett was drunk and in the audience stumbling around and playing pool at the bar tables . . . he asked a friend of mine for a quarter . . . true story; claiming he only had fifties . . . I didn't see any of his numerous security personall although I am sure they were around. It was a great night. Great music (Jimmy did not play). Little Feat stayed on stage until roughly 3AM and a couple of my neighbors brought gumbo for the band which they gave props to on stage . . . can't wait to see them again.

I won't be at Cohassett but I suppose it's probably for the best. This show is the last for the Feat's road manager. For you Poco fans, Denny Jones was also the road manager for Poco (but I don't remember exactly when).

Since this isn't a Feat forum, I'll keep it realll short. Basically, he was the wizard behind the curtain making sure things ran smoothly with the band, crew, hotels, venues, etc. You might have seen him at JB's private party at Margaritaville - NOLA a few years ago. Look for him in his HMFIC hat at the next few shows.

I'd love to see that show---you know the band will make it special.

That will be a good show. But I don't know if I could handle it.
