Over the past 6 months RM has gotten better, they play more Buffett and less Little Feat, Paul Simon, Lyle Lovette, Willie Nelson..... now if they would only play less SYSKBH tunes and more lesser know Buffett songs it would be the prefect station.

What type of receiver would you recommend? Want it for home, car and office.

I have a Starmate 4 and use it in docking stations and boombox.
It's been discontinued, but I found one left in a store last week when I had to replace the one I broke.
Newer units are bigger, with larger color screens.
I just wanted to stick with something small that fit my mounting set-ups I had created for each vehicle.
Get a two year plan, it comes to only $10/month that way.

I have rabbit ears, and analog T.V.s.
I applied for and received the $40 discount cards from the government,
and picked up a couple of Magnavox converters at Wal-Mart for $50 each, net cost $10 apiece.
The picture quality is incredible, and I get all the extra channels like 4.1,4.2,4.3, etc.
The signal is so strong, I folded the rabbiit ears all the way down and hid them behind a speaker, and the reception is still crystal clear.
I used to have to adjust them manually after changing channels.
Don't wait til February, the improvement is unbelievable!
Maybe then there will be TWO housholds in America that have Satellite
radio but no cable or dish for T.V. :D
