I would love to go too but I will be out of town and besides, I don't think I could handle a crowd of that size - I would prolly have a major panic attack! I am still betting he will announce Giant Stadium as soon as he plays MSG.

Who did the Central Park show when the big storm came through? Was that Diana Ross?

They're supposed to be limiting the crowd to 60,000.

I think the wind was so strong Diana Ross almost got blown across the river to New Jersey.

Didn't he play at Central Park back in the 1970's?

I'm not a big Diana Ross fan, but nobody deserves that fate. :o

Back in the 80's ..... I used to go down to the mall in D.C. every 4th of July for the fireworks and annual Beach Boys concert. Used to be over 500,000 down there every year. HUGE crowds. Lot of fun though. Closest thing I ever experienced to a Woodstock I suppose. Some years we got rained on, with mud and thunderstorms .... and beer, boobies and substances were abundant.

I miss those days.

If it was someone I liked I'd try to get tickets but Bon Jovi is Springsteen-lite. So lite I'm surprised he hasn't floated away.
