Who's Going to Paris Set. 20, 2008?

Hi guys!!! My wife and daughter got tickets to go on Saturday's concert last Wednesday. After talking to my other 2 daughters, they decided to join us in Paris! Cool to have daughters like that!!! Unfortunately when we went to buy tickets, they are all sold out! I'm begging any of you that would like to sell 4 tix (husband and BF coming too!)to the Saturday show, so that they may join us! Please PM or email me if you want to sell yours! They do not want to go to Paris if they can't get tickets!!! Thanks in advance.....Eddie

Does anyone have 1 spare ticket for Saturday, my 10 year old son really want to come but it is now sold out, and he will be really upset if i can't find a ticket for him, he has been brought up on Buffett, knows all the words and then some....

long time lurker here decloaking to say that there are still tickets on www.fnac.fr. DH and I are going on the 20th and are very excited. We weren't able to make last year's concert and haven't seen jimmy live since tampa about 4 years ago.

It is hard being a parrothead in exile!

Bring plenty of money if you want to drink. It is so expensive to eat and drink now because of the euro. We were in Venice last weekend and noticed a great difference in prices from a year ago. No doubt Paris will be the same as they have the euro.

Skipper I got the first 2 I bought. I'm still waiting for 5 more though. They come via registered mail, so someone has to be at home or business to sign for them.

Thanks for decloaking Tammy! After about an hour of translating that site I've created a user account and finally figured out how to purchase the ticket....my German is great....my French, not so much!

Ticket ordered - 35euro
Nonstop flight from Detroit - free (NWA frquent flyer miles)
Hotel at Marriott Courtyard - free (Marriott Points)
Seeing Jimmy in a country where I cant speak the language...priceless!

If anyone cares, I arrive at CDG the morning of the 20th. I plan to check-in at the hotel and do a lttle sight seeing (I've been to Paris before so it is more of a refresher

) I'll then make my way over to the club.

Are there any plans for everyone to meet up yet? If so, when and where?

How big is the club? Is it general seating (first come, first served?)

DH Parrothead...you and I met about 3 or 4 years ago in Vegas...you handed the inflatable palm tree off to me at the Last Man Standing event

I think we should all meet up somewhere for a nice, long boozy parrothead lunch somewhere in the 10th Arrondissement then make our way to the Club to line up from around 5 or so.

There's a bar right across the street for more refreshment...!

Last year they were soundchecking while we stood in line then they all emerged from the front door! (as seen on Scenes You Know By Heart). I doubt that will happen this gig since they will have done it all on the Friday but we can still "streetgate"!

Yaaah Mon....I was the Palm Tree Mule....!!!! We will see ya there...we've go tickets to both of the shows......What the heck else ya gonna do on a saturday night????
