OK....Paris party goers....I hear mention of an idea to meet on a Siene river boat for a cruise/dinner......anybody up for this????? I suppose it will depend on when we all get in and how many of us are going both nights.....Perhaps a Brunch on Sunday on the seine?????or at a cafe???? When Wifey-poo and I have spent time in Paris we have gonnen the Batobus pass and when ever we were tired or just wanted to cruise, we would hop on the batobus and cruise until we got inspired to do something....

This is really good and from the DVD Scenes you know by heart. Never get fed up of watching this - pity we were behind the camera man. Counting down the days and weeks to go to Paris can't wait - think it is only 7.1/2 weeks.

Getting Hitched (Almost)

Post by dkwhalen »

My girlfriend of 2.5 years and I are going to the show all the way from Arkansas, USA. I thought this would be a great time to pop the question. Anyone have any ideas where or how? Don't say the Eiffel.

Try Sunday, at the gardens of Versailles, bring a blanket, wine, champagne, some cheese and bread. Set up next to the Grand Canal. The fountains are all on and the classical period music is playing (only on Sundays!) Then do it!!!

Magical...

great ideas! Keep them coming. I want to do it when she's least expecting it. but I'm afraid she'll be expecting it no matter where/when. I wish I could tie it into the Saturday show. Hmmm.

Yeah this is the best idea and everyone would cheer. This will be your minute of fame if they are recording for a DVD!! Proposing at the top of Eiffel tower or at the top of the Arc de Triumph would be romantic but the best would be at the show. All the very best to you both - just can't wait for the show.
