Get Jimmy to announce it at the show....go talk to Charlston and see if he can get Jimmy to do it.....
Yeah this is the best idea and everyone would cheer. This will be your minute of fame if they are recording for a DVD!! Proposing at the top of Eiffel tower or at the top of the Arc de Triumph would be romantic but the best would be at the show. All the very best to you both - just can't wait for the show.

:D :D :D It is entirely possible that Jimmy will already know about your intended proposal plans....He (or at least a number of his people) check the BN boards.....so let 'em know!!!!! :D :D 8)

Tickets Received?

Post by dkwhalen »

Anyone know how long it takes to receive the concert tickets for the Paris show? I purchased them on 7/12 from Ticketnet.fr and they still haven't arrived. Just curious if anyone has purchased and received their tickets already.

I called over to Paris because I had not received my 20th tickets, and was told my Post Office returned them. They suggested I wait and pick them up in Paris.

I was afraid that this might happen to us for the second show...because we were on vacation....BUT the USPS held them as we had a mail hold while we were away....we got home and went to the PO and it was waiting for us....along with about a bushel of junk mail.....  :D

Longtime (I mean years) lurker here...anyways, my husband and I were able to get tickets to last year's Paris show and were totally out of the loop this year. We had a baby in January and seem to have lost touch with the world for a while. Now that we're getting more regular sleep, we discovered that our beloved Jimmy is coming to Paris, again! So, here we are, 19 days until the Saturday show, living 4 hours from Paris, with hotel reservations and (gasp) no tickets! We're really hoping to make it to this show and introduce our keet to Jimmy (well technically we was at last year's show, but still in the womb). Anyone have any ideas for us. Please help - this is as close to island life as we will get in 4 years. Thanks!

Yeah, I saw it but unfortunately there is no way that we can swing Friday due to my husband's job. Thanks for the lead. I'm going to keeping praying that something comes up in the next few days.

We went last year and I am sure they where still selling tickets on the door and some one said of the shops near bye still had tickets. If I were as near as you I would take a chance.

Good luck David

We can't decide whether we should chance it or pay big euros to an international scalping company. Big euros = a sure thing but it would s*** to get to Paris and find out that there were tickets still available. Decisions, decisions, decision ("indecision may or may not be my problem").

Just posted this on the Friday who's going.

Hi,

Last year there was not a t shirt for Paris and I have been trying to get one designed and made that I could sell for charity. After three tries someone has come up with (I think) a great design, but very late. I am waiting for "Buffett news" to OK it and I will provide a link. If not I will post a link when I get home. I am at work and can not log on to any of the photo sharingsites.
