do you like them. Have you driven one? Did they feel as small as they look or are they roomy?

I was fortunate enough to drive Sharkfyn's for a few days last fall in Florida - they are surprisingly roomier inside than I thought they'd be - and a hell of a lot of fun to drive. But I did feel VERY tiny amongst all the other cars on the road. Funny because when I drove her Z3 - which I think is smaller - it felt bigger.....

My son was out riding his dad's cycle and had the choice to either lay it down or crash thru the back window of one. He laid it down but still caused damage to the clown car. A friend of his had one in high school - they're cute.

I have a '03 VW GTI which is really about the same size, maybe a smidge bigger, and you wont believe the stuff I can fit in it. Hatchbacks have a lot of storage room, especially if you fold the backseats down.

If I were to ever consider driving one, it would have to be to a Steelers game and the Mini would have to be black with a gold stripe down the middle. Then I would buy a magnetic Steelers logo and stick it to the passenger side door.
Then I'd look like a rolling Steelers helmet.

I have been driving a mustang for around six years, right now driving a mustang convertible. I'm guessing this would be quite a change but better mileage.

I haven't looked at a GTI but it's got to have more room behind the seats than a Mini. You can get about three grocery bags bag there and that's about it. You have to put the seats down to haul golf clubs.

i've driven my friend's street legal cooper S and this not so street legal version.
both are a lot of fun. excellent handling and great get up and go. and doesn't sip alot of go juice. being front wheel drive it does exhibit some minor front wheel drive tendencies but the mini designers have done a good job of refining the car.
i almost bought one when my M3 got totaled, but the dealership didn't have an S available and i didn't want to order one.
mini now has the traveler which is a bit bigger, around my dealership it's affectionately known as the pet hearse. you may want to check it out. the VW is another great choice. mini's hold their resale value very well. one of the best i believe. and i believe they come with BMW's 4 year 50K mile bumper to bumper warranty and maintenance.

The new ones are fairly roomy on the inside for the people in the front seats. The backseats seemed really cramped and crowded. Surprisingly they felt as cramped as in the original Mini Cooper which was even smaller than today's version.

"At Mini, We deliver 100 at a time, not like FORD who can only deliver 8 or 10."
Whoops, sorry, thought this was the "caption this" thread...
