Have any of you folks seen the new Hunter S. Thompson documentary that features interviews with Jimmy?

It's on a limited run in select cities, and I live nowhere close to any of the select cities! :(

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was a HARRY S TRUMAN documentary.

Yeah - Truman was President when I was born, too. God - I am old! Looking forward to the Hunter Thompson documentary. Anyone have a link to where it is playing?

Thanks for the link. Big surprise - it's not scheduled in Maine. Guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.

Don't feel bad. I'm in a more "mainstream" area and still there aren't any showings near me.

Below is a link to an interview with the director. Scroll to "The Gonzo Life of Hunter S. Thompson". Right click to save to your hard drive (mp3). It runs for 22 minutes. GASP, it's from public radio. So don't hurt yourself.

Sadly, the movie won't play in my area. Only movies that automatically erase from your memory once you make it to your car are allowed. For some reason it's not permitted for movies (or much of our entertainment) to leave an impact for more then 2 hours. Walle is the exception. At least for me.

I can't do the poll because there isn't one for What Are You Talking About?

I thought this was clear:

"Have any of you folks seen the new Hunter S. Thompson documentary that features interviews with Jimmy?"

But here:
Official website for the film, which has a flash version of the trailer.
http://www.huntersthompsonmovie.com/

Trailer in Quicktime. Quicktime is still the best for trailer playback.

Okay, now I understand what you meant. It's hard to find non mainstream material buried in the wasteland of entertainment. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Charlie Rose's website has three interviews with Thompson archived if you need more.
