For Corona drinkers out there. My local Kroger store here in Michigan has 12 packs of Corona in cans for
$5.17!! I know, I know, the argument of cans vs. bottles, but we're heading on a river tubing trip in a couple weeks so this works out perfect!!
There is your public service announcement for the day..........now back to your regular scheduled programming.

We bought some for an occasion in April where no glass was allowed and think it worked out ok.

I would buy beer in a can only if it was not allowed to buy it in a bottle.... but $5.17 does not sound like a bad deal.

Anyway, the Kroger store in Burton @ Bristol Road is NOW out of Corona 12 packs in the can thanks to the good Doctor walking away with 2 cases of
Corona!!

Rumor has it, it takes less energy to recycle cans than bottles.
Also, and this is NO surprise, more college students buy beer in CANS than bottles.
For these reasons, my local brewery (which one? I know, I know) has decided to develop a can line at their facility.

Most college students buy the cheapest beer, regardless of what it tastes like or what container it comes in. I may have forgotten a lot about that time in my life...but that one fact stands clear.

When they changed distributors and the prices skyrocketed here in south Texas, I gave it up unless someone else is buying. Any beer is good beer by the third beer anyway. I have started seeing some sales lately, though. There's lots of others around here not buying either, so I'm guessing they overestimated their own importance in these tough economic times. Sorta like Starbucks. Geez, how much do they pay their CEO anyway? I've been predicting their oversaturation crash and burn for months. Pay me, SB!!!

Never had Corona in a can but I suppose I'd like it since I like Tecate in a can.
I've been buying one of my faves Miller Chill in a can lately.

I usually don't drink canned beer, but for $5.17 a 12-pack, I just may have to make a road trip to Michigan with my debit card.

Beers, like Guinness, that come with a widget inside them are an exception. They taste better in a can!

I get it for free often and I have a hard time giving it away. People say "In a can? That's even worse than in a bottle." Afterall, it is Corona.

I had a similar thought: it's a great deal; the only problem is that it's Corona.
If it were Negra Modelo or Leinenkugel or Sam Adams, we might be talking.
(No offense to all you Corona lovers out there!)

If I were you, I'd go back and get all I could cause someone mismarked those 12 packs. Cans run about $15 here in Ga, the same price as the bottles.
