Don't know if this has been posted, but many thanks to Steve Huntington and Joe Bell for passing along the information that
Third Rate Romance was performed by Jimmy Buffett back in 1975 at a show in Miami.
That show has been added to the database.

It's interesting to me to hear the comments Steve made about Jimmy appearing with the Amazing Rhythm Aces, who wrote that song.
Has anyone ever heard this cover by Jimmy? Steve said the recording was not SO good.

It would be cool to hear Jimmy do that song. It seems to fit him a lot better than some of the covers he's picked in the past.

I think the Amazing Rhythm Aces opened for Jimmy in '80 or '81. Believe it was the Volcano Tour.
Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?
Bobby: No.
Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Ya know, "Please Take Your Drunken 15 Year Old Girlfriend Home" kinda has that "Third Rate Romance" feel to it.
I figured that's about as far as he came to doing it.

One might think JB would cover Mississippi You're On My Mind. One of Jesse's best.
