Didn't catch it, but I certainly thought it!
I have always said there is a JB lyric for every situation in life and the "Brett saga" certainly fits!
Maybe even "going older but not up" fits as well.
I am a life long GB fan, love BF, but it is really hard to deal with all of this.
We didn't want to move on, we wanted BF to play forever, but now that we have, we have! Plain and simple. I know alot of GB fans that feel exactly the same. Could he come back and be better than AR, sure it can happen, but then what happens in 09? AR is a free agent, he gives up on the Pack, BF really retires, then we have a couple of rookies. Bad move Brett. LOVE you lots, but "indecision may or may" not be our problem now. I am just glad I didn't get those $1,500 tickets on stub hub for the Brett Favre jersey retirement celebration . . . I was on stub hubs site on Monday, and was going to pull the trigger, then I had to make sure I could get vaca and my boss is out until this Monday . . . I would have been so p***!

more Buffett references on ESPN! right now there is an article on espn.com home page on The British Open. it reads...

Fins To The Left At Royal Birkdale
But can this be right? Greg Norman -- yes, 53-year-old Greg Norman -- is your third-round leader at the British Open. Can the Shark keep the frenzy going Sunday (8 a.m. ET, ABC)? What in the name of a 46-year-old Bear is going on!
