Any advice on where to stay Saturday night and cool bars in Pittsburgh?

Holiday Inn McKnight is close by and a better rate

In town, Marriott Spring Hill Suites (2), Ramada, Double Tree... they will all be pricey, there is also one in Greentree - Best Western, but that will be hell going through the tunnel to and from the game. From McKnight Road it is NOT as bad.

Places to go: Station Square, South Side and Strip District.

Log on to www.meetin.org look up Pittsburgh, to see what is going on..

Ended up booking the Days Inn on Banksville Rd. It says it is 2 miles from the stadium. Got it for under $100 not looking for luxury but just a place to rest my head the night before the game.
