I am heading to Pawley's Island for a few days next week any ideas on any must do's. I will have wife and kids with me so that eliminates some things

You HAVE to buy a hammock there!

I haven't been without a Pawley's Island hammock in 40 forevers! Love 'em!

There are some good places to eat in Pawleys. Theres Louises fish camp at the hammock shops, great food. There is also a restaurant called franks which is expensive but very very good food probably the best on the grand strand. A little more low key is Pawleys Island Tavern knwon by locals as the PIT.- good bar and there is Pawleys Island Deli which is great for lunch. If you go out to the beach in Litchfield there is a beach bar/restaurant called calypso's its right on the beach. you can get there by taking the south causewyay out to Litchfield. It has a great atmosphere with good drink prices (had our rehersal dinner there). Of course you are just 10 minutes south of Murrells Inlet all the bars and restaurants there are good. Other than that there is the shopping, golf, beach etc.. the beach in Pawleys is great because it is not as crowded as Myrtle.
