I bet it fell out of Samuel L. Jackson's plane.

Snakes don't scare me, but just imagining putting my hand into the washing machine to pull out some clothes and feeling something move, then seeing a snake head rise out of the washing machine just gives me the heebie-jeebies.

I like some snakes, smaller pythons (Ball python) I can handle, definitely NOT an 8 ft one...
and they don't kill prey with their teeth, which they certainly do possess. That's only to hold their prey until they can wrap around it tightly enough....with each breath they constrict tighter.
I doubt a wildlife rehibilator told them pythons killed their prey with their teeth, but I guess it's possible she didn't know. Now, that's scary....
I prefer a king snake, (California Kings are beautifully marked) Corn snake (rat snake) or milk snakes...all 5 ft. or under.
I don't want any snake to surprise me...I want to know exactly where one is....like inside the aquariium with a tight cover.

We're going this way.
No we're going this way.
But I want to go this way.
No, this way.
Let's flip for it. Heads or tail?

I'm glad that wasn't me - we'd need a new washing machine.

You could just sue the washing machine maker for not making it snake-proof.
But really, how in the heck would an 8 foot python make it through the water lines into the machine? The water lines into my washer are maybe a half inch in diameter, that snake has got to be at least 6 inches wide, maybe a lot more...

Good Question - maybe in an 1800's home they're bigger? Perhaps when homes finally got "indoor plumbing" there were not building codes?
Either way my washing machine would be riddled with buckshot and Don would be going out and buying a new one. That is unless Mal's hubby would come over and get it for me. I'd be afraid it was hungry and therefore mean.
hmmmmmmmmmmm I'd like a new washer

There are only two things that freak me out, snakes and clowns. I once saw a snake in my back yard and it took me a month before I would go back there. If I ever found one in my washing machine I would move that day.

you'd be surprized the places they can squeeze into to....
and whoever discarded this snake was well aware of the danger he was possibly unleashing. It would not nothing for it to kill a child.
They find them in the canals in Florida all the time, she's lucky it didn't bite her.
The pack a nasty bite !

We'd need a new house.......with certification that it's snake proof.

Someone brought one to one our our Heart of Michign fund raisers. (Photos with the Easter Bunny) The thing latched onto the bunny's "paw" and we couldnt get it free for 15 minutes. Luckily the "bunny" was able to remove her hand from the paw just before snake bit it.
I was totally freaked from the time they first brought it out. (I print the photos) How anyone finds them to be a fun pet is beyond me
