No....most of the list was done by Blender.....which is a music magazine....JustDucky wrote:It is MSN.

The list was probably put together by a bunch of 25 yr-olds. Thank you for agreeing with me on Ray Davies. I agree with less than half of both lists.DisisDave wrote:Not really a good list...just someone who wants the elders to go away..Ray Davies "Working Man's Cafe" is great and I just saw him a few months ago, the Kinks work is still alive... say what you want for the Stones... they still get the job done as well as Elton...

For millions, Jimmy Buffett isn’t just a guy who writes songs about putzing around the Caribbean — he’s a shining symbol of the “good life.” That so few of them will get any closer to this life than hanging out in a dank bar called The Banana Boat, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, sipping a frozen daiquiri and waiting for their turn to karaoke “Margaritaville” is monumentally depressing.![]()

Heyyyy common now, the entire younger crowd is not tainted. I am 21, and I have successfully converted 10 of my age into PH's.Barefoot Gypsy wrote:I am in total agreement that Daltry still looks mighty fine and they still have the talent, that said the last new CD I found to be horrible. I was so bummed. I would say they have a few right but don't agree with the majority. Top 50 songs...well we all have those that feel like a spike thru the head!! I truly believe that Faith Hill's version of "Piece of My Heart" is one of the worst remakes EVER and should never be heard again.
I really believe the issue is that there is nobody around today at this point that is a new artisit who will be relevant 20 years from now. So, the younger crowd just doesn't really know true talent when they see or hear it.
As for the Parrothead comments I am with the "Bite me" comment 100%!!
Hats off to you, Sorry did not mean all the younger crowd. I have 3 sons: 17, 16, and 6. Most of my teenagers friends prefer the music I grew up with. So, totally not meaning to knock the whole younger crowd. It is more the "new" music coming out that has no lasting power and those who decide to rip on the older artists who have actually proved themselves for 20+ years.Finnsaremorefun wrote:Heyyyy common now, the entire younger crowd is not tainted. We need a few more "relics" like Ray around...the youngsters working the concession stand at the Beacon Theater in NYC said to me "This sounds like such a good time...everyone is singing along!" ... yeah.. just like a Jukebox!Skibo wrote:The list was probably put together by a bunch of 25 yr-olds.
