Sorry A.G.
That is reality. They stink on the road too. Still a very young program. Hopefully they can keep Edsall around. They are so fundamentally sound and extremely well coached.
how bout usf last night! :o
if uconn wins tomorrow night, i'll be ecstatic! we got pummelled by them years ago...it would be good to get a bit of revenge.
The backup qb, Zach Frazer, is not bad. He went to Mechanicsburg High
School in PA just a few miles from here. Broke all kinds of records his
junior year, but his recievers all graduated and he struggled his senior
year. Lots of dropped passes, he threw so hard. He went to Notre Dame
and was the third qb on the depth chart so he transferrred to UConn
after his freshman year. We PA Irish fans wish him the best of luck.
Also, the star rb for Pitt that ran all over USF last night is from
Bishop Mcdevitt High just across the river. Just a little central PA
football connection. :pirate:
man did we get ganushed. unc played well and they deserved to win big. but we just couldn't line up. fraser did ok, but he's got to get a few games under his belt in order to make better decisions.

Monster game in the Big 12 this weekend.....Red River Shootout....Okie & the Longhorns/Shorthorns/TeaSippers! Winner stays in the BCS hunt..loser...NOT!! Okie State has the task of trying to slow down Chase Daniel & the Mizzou Tigers. Ain't gonna happen. Nebraska will try to keep T.Tech Red Raiders from hanging 80 or more on them!
SEC brings LSU/Florida to the table. Another loss by the Gators & they're ALL DONE. JoeJa Dawgs host the T.Volunteers....could this 1 get ugly in this SEC clash or will Big Orange get it back together?
Penn State has to travel to Madison....Badgers have to get back up for another Saturday Nighter and try to derail the Nittany Lion train from their quest for the Big Ten Title and POSSIBLE National Championship bid. :o I kinda smell upset here....but can Wisky bounce back from 2 TOUGH, TOUGH losses? Northwestern vs. Michigan State for first place in the Big Ten??? :o  Oh my!
Fightin' Irish fans will get their biggest test to date by traveling to Tar Heel country. If NC had their starting QB Yates I'd say they'd roll....but you never know how the backup QB is gonna do.
Kicking it all off tonight is Wake Forest hosting Clemson in a major ACC tilt. Clemson NEEDS this 1 in a big way....Tommy Bowden needs this 1 in a big way...or the season will be a huge disapointment. I LOVE the Wake program. They're not stocked with huge recruits but they just find a way to play together and get the job done!!
My Wolverines try to save face against another MAC team in Toledo. :-? Oh what a tough season this is for myself and my Michigan Brethren. [smilie=grrrrrr.gif] Can we fast-forward to next year please??!! :o

College Football Phans....Enjoy Your game and I hope your team wins....except for that Sweater Vested Cheatin' team from Down South of course (Penguin, you know who you are)!!

I think the direction Jimmy Clausen is headed in, he's starting to look reall comfortable back there and the Irish are responding

I am actually wearing an Oklahoma T-shirt right now, but for some strange reason. I like Texas this weekend in the Red River Shootout

Michigan can write this season off, I think once Rich Rodriguez gets his own players in there. They'll be back in the top 5. I really like that offense he runs.

I think Lane Kifflin might wind up at Clemson after this season. Coaching Iowa School of Dance would be better then working for Al Davis :D

Nice preview, I really enjoyed that

My Big Ten prediction for the week

Penn State rolls a Wisky team that is floundering like a fish out of water. They could end up going from a N.C. contender just 2 weeks ago to playing in the Motor city bowl with loseable games coming up against Iowa, Illinois at home, and at MSU

MSU and NW fight it out between these recent rivals with Msu squeeking by to stay in the hunt for the Big ten title. A win this weekend sets up a huge game next week with the OSU.

INdiana hosts the Iowa hawks in the "already out of it" bowl. Indy finally gets a win.

Illinois at home rolls big over minny.

The rockets once again scare the dye out of the Big Hole's blue hairs but Michigan comes back in the 4th to win and keep their Motor city bowl chances alive.

The Luckeyes prove they are a fraud thats ripe to be picked off but Purdue comes up short. The Osu wins a tight one to set up the big showdown in East Lansing.

Ok, believe it or not but I am not making a wise crack at my rival Clemson! But what the hell has happened with your team? You guys are loaded with talent, but you keep losing to teams that you are far more superior than. Wake is a good team but no where near the talent level of Clemson.

I think the hot seat for Bowden just hot a whole lot hotter!

Strong Arm....liked what i've seen...young mistakes will happen.....but what hurt UCONN was getting 3 punts blocked.....Donald Brown is a stud...leads the nation in rushing( i know BE)...But he still leads. The D is what i'm worried about...given up way to many yards the last couple of games.

I think it's the same problem with a number of BIG NAME schools who are currently struggling on offense (Michigan included).....great talent at the skill position.....but......GAMES ARE WON OR LOST IN THE TRENCHES!!!!! And as Bobby Bowden would say, "CU's Trenches Aint Very Dad Gum Good Right Now!!"

That's a good question, my friend, and I honestly do not know how to answer it. But this is the most disappointing season I can remember in a while, and we're only halfway through it. It's very frustrating for all of us here.

Bowden's seat is so hot he might as well be sitting on the sun. Rumors on the Internet abound as to whether or not he'll get the boot as early as next week, but all of that remains to be seen.

While Clemson's expectations were EXTREMELY higher this year, mid-season is about the time the Tigers make a great stretch run and save T.Bowden's job once again. Maybe the boosters are looking to can him before that can happen again!

Wow. I think this is the first year since I joined up that there has been no trash talk before the Vols vs. Dawgs game. You know I'm not gonna talk...we s*ck. I'm just waiting to get rid of Fat Phil. Are you Jawja guys nervous or something?

being a loyal Sooner fan, as well as UGA, I have no fear.

the Sooners are well known to choke, sometimes, during the big game, known for their, sometimes, inconsistent play.

sure I'd like to see UGA win, but this year, like I've seen OK do so many times, they're beating themselves with penalties.

Any Gator fans going to the game today?? MID and I are heading up there for her first trip to the Swamp. We'd love to hook up with any BN'ers there.
