On the CMU football board they seem to think it's Brian Kelly's job to lose. Myself, I think he needs another year or two at Cincinnati before moving to a top-shelf job, but his career has certainly been on the fast track the past few years.

He was up for the Michigan job last year. I was sort of suprised he did not take it. I think he probablly needs one more year also.

You would think that the Vols would press hard to see if Mike Leach is interested....and that the search would end there if he does!!

And now according to the BcS we'll be seeing Alabama vs. Texas in the National Championship game.
But....can Texas stay ahead of Okie if Oklahoma wipes out Oklahoma State next weekend??? And what if Auburn somehow stuns Alabama??? Can Seminoles shock Gators??? What about if A&M can surprise Longhorns??? Well, we know THAT'S not gonna happen!! :o sorry Janice.
All we really know for sure is that Utah will be in a BCS game! All the other conference leaders & other BCS game contenders STILL has at least 1 more game to decide where they'll go Bowling! LOVE IT!!

2 more weekends of big fun on the NCAA gridiron! [smilie=coolup.gif]

Any good Ag does

I'm not going to the game. I went to one game in Austin and the fans were throwing things on us. It wasn't as bad as in Lubbock, but it was enough for me to say never again.

We have the last two years.... :P

I'm just hoping we do enough to let Oklahoma pass them in the rankings. Heck, I just hope we score!

Charlie Weiss has to be feeling a whole lot of heat this morning. How do you lose against Syracuse?

Congrats to Florida St.'s Myron Rolle for winning a Rhodes Scholarship. That is more impressive then anything he will ever do on the football field.

I've never experienced much politeness from t.u. fans when in their house. Heck, I barely forgive my cousin for jumping ship to be a sip.

hahaha exactly. Syracuse is the worst team in the BE and the BE isn't really having a strong year AND their coach just got fired.

Glad to see 'Cuse win though. They just need to try to beat Cincinnati....now that would be great!

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

And it's not over in the MAC West, either! A Western Michigan win over Ball State tomorrow night means a 3-way tie between Western, Ball State and Central Michigan! ...and CMU owns all the tiebreakers :D

Go Broncos! that's the first and only time you'll see me type that

After the Iowa Hawkeyes 55-0 win over Minnesota on Saturday, they (the Hawkeyes) will be OFFICIALLY changing their name to the Iowa FLIP-FLOPPERS.

All the teams they beat last year beat them this year.
And all the teams they lost to last year, they beat this year.

They played two teams (Universtiy of Maine, who they defeated, and the University of Pittsburgh, who they lost to) that weren't on the schedule last year.
But of their other ten games, they defeated all the teams that defeated them last year, and lost to all the teams they were victorious against in 2007.

WHAT A COUNTRY.
