To quote Stars literature...

In 2005 STARS FELL ON ALABAMA WAS VOTED THE #2 PARROT HEAD PREMIERE EVENT IN THE PARROT HEAD NATION !!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Signs You Partied TOO Much At Stars In 2008"
You keep finding empty jello shots cups in your luggage.
My wife drinks AND I get the hangover.
Took a couple of days to recover and I had to go back to work to get some rest.
Yes the drive home sucked.
When you missed the last jam session in the bar and the party in the lobby afterwards till 5am Sunday morning.
When you can't remember if you spring forward or fall back on Saturday Night..but it doesn't matter...you haven't looked at a clock in 3 days!
Your group's bar tab at Lulu's is 4 figures!!!
Came home with someone else’s clothes!
In my case it was my cheeks (those found on the face) were sore from laughing and smiling too much - too much fun. :O)
Shoving Jello-shots down my throat until I couldn't fill out the card with our names on it for the lyric game at the pool.
Looking at the pics, sleeping til 3PM the day after I got home.
You wake up with a hang over, take some asprin and party again!!
You have a sun tan line on your chest from holding your beer (Just ask Flipper). We got pictures.
You know you've partied to much at Stars is when your still feeling the effects from the event on the Wednesday after at work, but are grinning from ear to ear remembering how much fun you had!
The Jello Shooter distributors come to you first with each batch and know your favorite flavor!
Passing out on the bed while still firmly holding your beer.
Don't remember things I did in a lot of pictures.
My calves killed me Sunday from dancing so much.
I had no problem but my husband fell into that category.
Started assisting Scuba Steve with Elevator Tours.
You hurt from your waist down from jumping like you were 20 when you are at least twice that age - this was during the music and at the parties
Can’t remember singing to the whole restaurant at Bubba’s Seafood.
MY FEET HURT BY SATURDAY MORNING!!! You guys should sell feet replacements..you could make a fortune!!
After Tall Paul I started cleaning up my “jello shot cups”. There was wayyyyy to many by my chair. It took me 4 trips to the trash can to pick them all up.
VISA is calling YOU to verify that all those rum punches/jet ski killers/local art are REALLY being purchased by YOU (yes, it has happened but that's another story!)
You get on the elevator at the second floor, heading down to the pool, and end up on the 8th floor. (in our defense we didn't know where the stairs were at the time!)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Schedule of Events will be coming out to you in August. I have told you that we have some NEW EXCITING changes for 2009. GEEZ...I can't stand it...I've got to give you all a little teaser
Ready?????
Thursday--Registration
Thursday--Pre-Welcome Party at the Island House on the BEACH
Friday--Registration
Friday--"Let's Do It On The Line Party" at the FloraBama
Saturday--The Famous "Unforgettable Bus Trip To LuLu's"
Saturday--We will be going across the street from the Island House to Zekes Marina.
There's your teaser....now we still have a lot of things up our sleeve...you will have to wait until the Schedule of Events come out in August.

Heck, sometimes I think it's worth the price of registration just to get the
animated emails from MotherHen!

The Island House may not be your place to bed down, but it will be your
primary gathering place. Lots of music by the pool, in the bar, and late
into the night. http://www.islandhousehotel.com
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=30.2727074&lo ... =0&m=a&v=2
EVERY room has an oceanfront balcony.

The event is 3 full days of music and fun on the beach with NO DRIVING
NECESSARY. Great entertainment with a great group of pholks in a great
setting put on by a great assembly of PHC leaders. They provide excellent
activities, raffles, auctions, and jello shots!

The entertainment list is outstanding and there's a
GUARANTEED BUFFETT EXPERIENCE!
Yes, for real.

I don't have time to read the entire thread, so WITHOUT biting my head off, where in Alabama is this event?
I think I'd like to go.
