What were the Stars woman wearing this year?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I think I've got it now.
Mrs. Wino and I were at THE Flora-Bama in 1998. We were going to drive strait from St. Augustine to Mobile, with a stop at the Flora-Bama, but just before getting to Pensacola, we found a place that was having a sale on Corona beer-$8.95 per 12-pack.
Three of my credit cards ended up getting maxed out that day, I had to tie most of our luggage to the roof of the Jeep to make room for the "groceries," and, instead of spending the entire afternoon at the Flora-Bama like we'd planned, I had enough to get us each a couple drinks, then back on the road again.

3 miles down the road from Florabama to the west is the Island House. Along the coast road to 59, hang a right and north gets you thru Foley to I-10.

and that might have been the liquor store next door to the Winn-Dixie. :)

There was/is a HOOTERS restaurant in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores, I forget which.
Either way, if I can make it, it sounds like it'll be a blast.
And perfect timing too-when I'll be P.O.ed three ways from Sunday at the weather we'll be having here.

You know I'd walk across the GREAT state of Texas ten times to meet you.
But if it's Alabama where I finally get to meet you, so be it.
It isn't exatcly Texas, but it's the south, so I know it'll be great.

If I'm able to get a room close by, and I'm not dead (and my father's health holds up), there's no reason why I wouldn't be there.

Especially since I don't have a HOOTERS t-shirt from Gulf Shores. 8)
