Okay, so I'm hosting a 70s-themed party this month and I want to include some slow dance songs as part of the soundtrack. I know some of you are (like me) old enough to remember the 70s, so what were some of the great slow dance songs?
Here's what I've come up with so far:
Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
Baby I Love Your Way - Peter Frampton
New Kid in Town - Eagles
Color My World - Chicago
If - Bread
All By Myself - Eric Carmen
Beth - Kiss
Desperado - Eagles
Don't Tell Me Goodnight - Lobo
If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot
Killing Me Softly With His Song - Roberta Flack
Love Hurts - Nazareth
Make It With You - Bread
She's Always a Woman - Billy Joel
Slow Dancing - Johnny Rivers
Take It To the Limit - Eagles
Tequila Sunrise - Eagles
The Best of My Love - Eagles
When I Need You - Leo Sayer
Without You - Harry Nilsson
Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
You Are So Beautiful - Joe Cocker
Any others?

Very early 70's but one of my favourites.... What's Going On - Marvin Gaye
Bono and friends did a pretty good version of it too a few years ago.
