Actually I was more interested in Julius LaRosa.

When I was a kid in the 70's I heard him on the old WNEW-AM. The days of William B Williams, Ted Brown, etc.

Just curious how early you had to get there to get up so close, so I could know for next year. Bathroom breaks etc??

I had a great time at the Newport Show!! I got myself all the way to the front row!! I'll get my photos downloaded soon. Believe it or not the thing that got me to the front row was my Buffettnews Lanyard!!! I just walked through the VIP area by the soundboard and got myself dead center front row. The security looked at my Lanyard and just waved me through! I almost got Jimmy's wrist band. It was a great time and a fun crowd. Looking into the Harbour reminded me of Live By the Bay. People on the boats were having so much fun, there were all types of water craft there. Next time I think I would like to be on the water for the Newport show.

We got there at 3:30 and I had no problem getting to the front row, thanks to the Buffettnews Lanyard.

and you're proud of that? I think it's pretty uncool...... :-?

It's one thing to set it up with the group ahead of time if you have to be late for a reason. It's another to just stroll in late and expect to get to the front after people have worked together all day to save their spots in the front..... Uncool.... :-?

Please, do put your lanyard away if you're using it to bypass good manners.....
