Holy Guacamole! I'm going to bloody *be* there!!!

(Note: Upstate NY has *not* been my regular stomping ground since sometime in the 70s.)

This is just too weird a coincidence...members of my high school class have invited me out for the weekend. We'll be at the track in the daytime that Friday, and I'm playing that night at Vapor, the nightclub right next to the track.

(FYI, far as I know you're all invited to the show.)

I'll need to write 'em and find out how much additional fun I can help create...

So who wants to start the inevitable rumor about whether or not Jimmy will show up? :)

He *will*, after all, be on Long Island two nights earlier, and not in VA until the following night...

Well, I've been trying to track down more information about this, but I'm not having a lot of luck. I've got a call in to the marketing director at the track, but am not hearing back from him.

All I know so far is that this is happening at the *flat* track (thoroughbred racing), not the *harness* track.

I'm not sure yet which track I'll be at during the day. But in the evening, I'll be gigging on the patio at Vapor, the nightclub at the harness track, doing my Trop Rock best.

If I find out anything more, I'll pass it on.

Cheers,

Loren

I was up at the clubhouse most of the day. Never saw *anything* connected to Margaritaville all day.

My show at Vapor was a lot of fun, as was the overall reunion with my high school friends. Very nice looking nightclub, and the band that followed me was very good.

According to what I hear, something *very* interesting *almost* happened. One of my high school classmates is Connected, in a very significant way, and if what he was trying to surprise me with had happened...well, it might have required another topic. :)

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Onward to Buffalo today!
