I was also at Newport (for both Saturday and Sunday) and IMHO, Jake stole the show with his solo gig Sunday afternoon at the smaller Waterside tent at Newport.

A real mind-blowing performance - he takes ukelele playing to whole new levels!

In case anybody missed them on my other post my photos are on webshots http://good-times.webshots.com/album/565027402dYLVcc

It was a neat sight when we saw Continental Drifter III as we pulled in on the water shuttle. Almost every one in the boat cheered and some yelled 'Thank You Jimmy" as we pulled by.

Wow! All of these are amazing pics. It looks like you had some decent "seats" (or a good zoom lens on the camera).

It definitely looked like Live by the Bay all over again. Sitting on the deck of your boat is definitely the way to listen to Jimmy live! Now all i need is a boat... (and Jimmy playin' near by). Not asking too much, right??

Decent seats, second row back, the zoom is OK.
