Kenny Chesney Films Clip for 1st Lucky Old Sun Single with the Wailers


Jamaica: As "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven," the first single from Kenny Chesney's upcoming Lucky Old Sun, landing at 22 on the Country Singles chart after a mere 12 hours of airplay, the 4-straight Academy of Country Music and 3-time and current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year is putting finishing touches on the Shaun Silva-directed video for the salvation song with the decidedly tropical feel. Long a demi-regular in the waters of the Caribbean, Chesney chose Jamaica as the site for his upcoming clip.

My wife is the Kenny fan, I'll have to pass it along to her. I always thought Willie Nelson putting out the reggae album was the end of country guys and reggae people.

Is he bordering on being a hack yet or is just me being bitter. Probably me.

What a honor for him to record with the Wailers. Would have loved to hear the stories he heard from those guys.

He's a bit of a hack. Not really had an orginal idea in awhile. I like some of his stuff. No desire to see him live
