I mean we have already changed JB's setlists.
What else could we possibly accomplish?

Change his guitar strap? I can see a 33 page topic on that.

I don't know, I go to a show and I don't want to see a bunch of guitar strap changes. I like to go knowing that I will get the same old guitar strap, week after week, year after year. Sure, someone's going to say that he needs to inject a little guitar strap variety. But think of the "real fans" and the new people who come just to see the old guitar strap. Don't they deserve to get what they want out of a show, too? And you know what, I even hear lately that he doesn't even make his own guitar strap. Yep, uses someone else's.

It's OK if he uses some else's for a few songs, but he shouldn't use someone else's for 6 songs! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

Nope, it pranced over a pretty little angel fish. ("shark" just sounds so negative)

So, who's in charge of collectiing the screen names that get turned in?

I have been posting a bit here and a bit there lately, more than usual, and I really don't see what is wrong with having an opinion that is different than everyone else. I am not the type of fan that thinks that everything JB does is great. I post what I post because I am a true fan and would like to see something different or hear something different than the same show I have heard / seen for the last three years. Why is that so wrong? Why is it wrong for me to think that JB should change it up a bit and since he is in the twilight of his career, cater to those fans that have been with him longer than the people just there for the party? I think that as fans, we have a right to request, ask, b****, complain about what we are getting for our money.

It's not that people should not have opinions, its just that where one chooses to express that opinion is subject to review. I read BN to see how the concert went the night before, or how people are getting together for the next one, or just what people are thinking about. It's basically a fan board. Fans don't cut up their objects of admiration on a daily basis. That is left up to critics and reviewers. It seems to me that most BN members are good folks who enjoy the music, the show, and definitely the atmosphere. If something displeases them, they let it slide. Tickets are high, but so is gas. I still drive everyday. I saw Buffett twice this summer. I considered myself lucky for him to be close enough to have that type of summer. I was unhappier about the cost of gas than the price of the tickets.I had a number of friends go, and we had a great experience. You get out of life what you put in. And yes, one of my favorite quotes is breathe in, breathe out, move on! If folks don't like the price, song list, restrictions of attending, or atmosphere, DON'T GO! There are plenty of us who do and will be glad to have less competition for the tickets.
There are times I find myself with them
And times I feel as they do

I went to 2 shows also this year, granted they were both in Chicago, and I still had a great time. I met some new people from the board and the tailgate was AWESOME! I check the board on a daily basis to see what is going on and things like that too. I am not here to bash Jimmy, but if other people and companies in the entertainment business can go to the fans and ask what they want or how things can be improved, why can't Bubba?

jimmy shows up for the shows and plays whats easy for him. the band is capable of playing much deeper cuts in a short amount of rehearsal time prior to the show. even with a teleprompter to get through the lyrics he doesnt play more obscure lesser played songs. he doesnt want to challenge himself with the live show and its very notable the last 3 tours.he plays the easy songs that he can sleepwalk through.
