You must be very proud!
I don't know if there is a "traditional" gift. Perhaps you get him a cake with Boy Scouts fler de le logo. If you are anywhere near Richmond, VA , I can recommend just the right lady to make it for you.
Perhaps cufflinks, or a lapel pin with the logo? Those would be things he could wear into his adulthood.

Gifts can be anything from the "traditional" to the whatever...... However, if you and or the parents are looking to do something cool (in MHO...) A shadow Box type frame with his uniform shirt and merit badge sash is a memento/keepsake that is very cool.......Congratulations!!! Eagle is a comitment and you should be very proud of him!!!!!

I'm proud to be an Eagle Scout! I got lots of neat gifts when I got mine almost 10 years ago.
My advice for you would be to go to your local Christian Book Store. They should have some neat "Eagle" stuff that has this verse on it......
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31

I took this poem and added a pic of Ryan as a Tiger Cub and one of him as an Eagle.
It made a nice picture.
This Uniformed Little Boy
It seems like only yesterday, his eyes were lit with joy,
As we watched with admiration, this uniformed little boy.
Campouts, picnics, pinewood cars, the years slipped quickly by,
The colors changed from blue to green, in the twinkling of an eye.
Soon came ranks of Tenderfoot, Second, First, and Star,
Each leading toward that final quest, once visioned from afar.
And then the rank of Life, and as life can often do,
The goal so close within his grasp, was dimming from his view.
Yet from within he found the strength to reach that final quest,
Remembering words from years gone by: I Will Do My Best.
It seems like only yesterday, his eyes were lit with joy,
As we watched with admiration, this uniformed little boy.
Now with an eagle upon his chest, he soars where once he ran,
No longer that uniformed little boy; our Son....An Eagle....A Man.
