I was supposed to go to that show (the one that was delayed by 9-11). My personal life changed tremendously after that concert (had nothing to do with what happened in New York or Washington) and I have no complaints about the way things worked out.

1976, somewhere in Atlanta, maybe Lake Lanier. It's one of the few things I remember from that decade.

June or July 1977 at a small movie theater called The Tower, in Upper Darby. It was life changing! I married the man that introduced me to Buffett! [smilie=battingeyes.gif] 31 years ago!

Salty Piece of Land Tour
GW - 2005
Can't imagine what took me so long  - thank God the reservations guy at a hotel in KW suggested I listen to some JB before coming down in 2003

Although my relative newbie status has at least kept me out of the 'disappointed in the set list, venue, ticket prices" threads! :-?

First time I experienced JB live? 1990, Lake Compounce, Bristol CT. I worked there and walked through the concert area on my way to clock out. It was the feeding frenzy tour and I walked through while he was doing the "sermon" part. Needless to say, I didn't get it.

First concert was merriweather post pavilion the next year. I got it. Big time.
