First show was the Wrigley Field "Labor Day Weekend Show". My wife and I were budding Parrotheads and were GIVEN 2 tickets for the Sunday concert (non-Parrothead coworker of a friend - probably Cubs season ticket holders). They were nosebleed outfield stand seats, but it was an awesome beginning. We've come to appreciate several other Chicago-area venues since then (Tinley Park, Alpine Valley, Bridgeview), but Wrigley will always be special as our first.

Little did I know then the tailgating experience. And I likes the set list too. Oh and I believeit was the second time Glory Days was ever played before it became somewhat common in the encores.

this is my first post after several years of reading hundreds of others. my first concert was back in 1995 at jacobs field in cleveland. little did i know then that it would lead me into how i look at life now. my brother passed away from cancer in 1996 at age 32. i then realized how short life can be. i have now been to 12 more concerts since then. my wife and i got married on the beach of lake erie, been to key west twice, have the buffett stuff hanging in our office, poured sand on our patio to " be at the beach every day". we are waiting for the day to move to florida so we can sit under the palms with margaritas in our hands and watch the waves roll in.

I love the price on that ticket. I think my first ticket cost me $15.
PArk West had to be a different setting to see him at.
