Add to that some Jersey Fresh sweet corn and a fresh watermelon (not those imported things) and you've got some great summer grillin.
Tomorrow, I will have the boneless pork loin that has been sitting in the fridge soaking up the flavors from a dry rub I applied last night. I'll probably grill roast some Jersey Fresh red bliss potatoes, carrots and some onion to go with it.
I also have chicken breasts in the fridge that I will likely pound into my soon to be famous spicy Chicken Cordon Bleu from the grill.
And if all else fails, I have some jalapeno burgers in the freezer!
Mmmmmm!
Blackjack, my nephew is still raving about your barbecued ribs at
the Philly concert. I might have to get that recipe from you.
As for my grilling this weekend, I'll be cooking up some REALLY GOOD
sausages from a little place in Steelton, PA. The place has been in
business for over 40 years and all they make is sausage, bacon,
dried sausage sticks, and what you would probably call "pigs in the
blanket". Around here we call it "sarma" or "halupki". Anyway I got
the hot smoked and the honey smoked sausages. Good eatin'.
