Don't know if it was live, but Phil Dalhausser / Todd Rogers beat the Swiss in a close match.

Surely they wouldn't take it back from Phelps.

Protest filed in the Phelps race? Wonder what that's about.

I doubt the protest will be upheld.

They really haven't said much, but the protest is going to the techincal director of swimming. I would think that means they are possibly questioning the electronic timers?

It wasn't. Dismissed. The medal stands.

Its official Phelps wins!! Swimming officials refuse to look at protest due to confirmation from high speed cameras.

Saw this today, I had no idea there was that kind of $$ in swimming (other than Phelps)
Torres’s retinue includes a head coach, a sprint coach, a strength coach, two stretchers, two masseuses, a chiropractor and a nanny, at the cost of at least $100,000 per year.

And how nice was it of Daria to look after a swimmer from another country!
But she says they are all friends

She's my new hero. For sure! In a sport where women who are in their late 20's are old, she's amazing, and inspiring!
And damb, I was on my way home while Phelps was racing, and heard the results on the radio. I've seen the touch replay of course, and all I can think is that floating into the wall is not a mistake swimmers of that caliber should be making... Amazing fight to the end for Phelps, proving that ya just never know what's gonna happen, and never giving up sometimes has it's rewards. Woo hoo! And later they're going to have Phelps and Spitz talking to each other via satellite!
