LOL the first weekend is a parrothead gouge. The second weekend is the lead in to the SEMA show. There are no cheap rooms in Vegas then.ragtopW wrote:fixed it for ya..Skibo wrote:Grand is closer. Three years ago when we were there, they shut down one of the towers because of a "norwalk-like" virus.....but I suspect that could happen anywhere.karat wrote:Unhealthly? I never heard any of that.... I like Flamingo, because I feel safer walking out the front door at night, right on the strip....
As for the rooms need updated - you have not been in the Deluxe, they are super sweet! The other rooms...yes they need help, but I am there all of 6 hours?
oh wow, I have all my shots - you know Yellow Fever, and other creepy virus crudspbans wrote:Three years ago when we were there, they shut down one of the towers because of a "norwalk-like" virus.....but I suspect that could happen anywhere.karat wrote:Unhealthly? Anytime you have hotels with thousands of rooms, you are going to have health problems. You just can't have that many people "living" there nightly and not have some bringing in unsanitary problems. I'm sure nobody wants to think about it....but one of the biggest problems in Vegas is bedbugs. If you ever come back from a Vegas vacation and have small mosquito-like bites on your skin, more than likely you shared a mattress with many other "guests". However, just like most other health problems...your chance of staying in a room with an infested mattress is just as likely at the Bellagio as it is at most other properties on the strip (although probably a little higher at low end hotels where mattresses aren't replaced as frequently).karat wrote:oh wow, I have all my shots - you know Yellow Fever, and other creepy virus crudspbans wrote:Three years ago when we were there, they shut down one of the towers because of a "norwalk-like" virus.....but I suspect that could happen anywhere.karat wrote:Unhealthly? I know you should not lay on the blanket/comforters on the bed
we could cause us all to become Howard Hughes if this continues...

Actually....while the belly of the plane may be filthy.....it cycles through a very hard freeze everytime it makes cruise altitude.......no bugs get to withstand that (at least the ones on the outside of your suitcase...the ones on the inside is a different story......)
