Jimmy also shares the stage at Jazz Fest or the Newport Folk Festival with many others but I doubt he coordinates his schedule with them.

Look at it this way too . . . Country shows typically have 2-3 opening acts. Jimmy has none. Maybe George shows up to do "hey Good Lookin" with Jimmy and then jets down Harlem to the Tinley Show. You'll be sad you missed it.
Sad that I missed one song? Probably not. Not unless he had Kenny, Toby, and Clint there too.
Did you hear the one about me being a punk?
Did you hear the one about me being a drunk?
Did you hear the one about me losing my nerve?
Or how I'm just another f**** sheep in the herd?
Did you hear the one about me giving a s***?
Cause if I ever did I don't remember it.

Clint? Nah.
Kenny? meh? Not worth what I got excited for.
Toby? I really hope Tony doesn't play the same day. I mean I hate the touring Ford Truck commercial but I've yet to go to one of his shows I didn't like and I've been to 5 I think.

** Kenny, Toby, and Clint would likely not be available either. They won't dare schedule something within a 750 mile radius of George out of the same respect you think Jimmy would afford George.

The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

July
7/16, 7/18 - Bridgeview, IL- Toyota Park
I'm not sure if I'm buying this yet . . . too soon and too much info. I'm not too sure it gets put together that far out this early - Not July but the later dates.

There are alot of those dates that will get peoples panties in a wad.
* Vegas people not seeing Jimmy in October?
* The whole Texas fiasco
So I suspect it could just be some teasing. Its a new poster too. How would that one person just come in and start spouting off to us Parrotheads.

It would be FANTASTIC if the concert were in late September-one of my Navy ships is having a reunion in Chicago then (22nd-27th), and it would be great if they were both happening at the same time.
But whenever the concert is, I'll be there.

HA! Pepe's on 159th - Bro-in-law and Sis-in-law had their rehearsal dinner there.

Small world but not so small that I've found myself caught in a Wrigleyville Cubbie bar. :-?

I really do regret the Parrot-Dice Lounge in that it prevents me from visiting too much on concert day - thankfully, I was able to see all your smiling faces. I do remember slurring all over EJR at the show though.

those are a lot of my old haunts too! :D Love The Patio! Used to go to Chi-Chi's after work for their margaritas quite a bit too... I could go on and on about my fave restaurants/bars in the area. I don't get back that way enough. I am hoping I get to the Saturday show in Chicago this year. [smilie=coolup.gif]

You're right! Credit to me!

This year I don't expect to be so lucky. In our super tiny confined tailgating spaces I have big dreams to live out and this year is no different.

In those tight spaces, maybe you need to think about expanding "up" and not "out".
I'm thinking a 2nd-floor dance club on the Parrot Dice Lounge?

And, if you get there early enough to park in the first row again, set things up on the other side where there was a lot more room (like I suggested to you then)

Hey! I remember that from last year! My husband may or may not be in that pic. LOL. The platform was surprisingly stable. I guess the people who brought it have been doing it for Buffett tailgates for years.

I guess it's officially tour date season - time to be active on the BN forums again! There goes my productivity at work.
