Anyone who went last year have recommendations for hotels? From what I can tell there is not alot near by.
Mindy! Good to see ya coming back!
Just south of Midway, there's a plaza with several hotels that share a large lot. Several BNers stayed there, and I don't think it was much more than 5 miles to the venue.

Parrotheads sort of took over all of those hotels last year. And we were able to work out a place to have cars gather to caravan over. Worked pretty well.
You know that once things get confirmed, we will start neurosing on all of this stuff

PLanning is the worst. Especially when you are trying to coordinate 30+ people. We may or may not end up in Chicago. We may be leaning more towards Alpine Valley as peoples personal lives have interfered with the possible 7/18 date.
All I can do right now is hope this is a rumor and a date for Chicago springs up on 7/25 OR I am able to round up the better majority of my group for Alpine Valley.
The Parrot Dice Lounge kinda like a mirage. Here today and gone tomorrow. You should stop by and say hello when visiting Chicago on tour.

If the lounge is heading to alpine I may be as well.....I am a lawn lover and having them both together would be delightful. I would be bummed to not see the newest version of your creative genious at work.

All we need is concrete dates to be sure . . . but it looks like the direction we are headed.
I made reservations at a hotel last night 4 rooms. 3 for Saturday only and 1 for Friday & Saturday in case of a Mac show. Not that I can't see Mac in Chicago but . . . When in Rome . . .
