I don't think he get enough credit for his "blues-ness."

He definately puts on a fun live show. You'll leave his concerts feeling good. Catch him live if you can.

I won't be able to make that show, but it does sound like a fun time. I've heard he still puts on a great show.

Wish I was going too. He does put on a good show.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

And the location wouldn't be too bad either, I think I could handle that. ;)

I won't be in Maui for his show

The first time I saw him was in 1978 or 79, when he was a sideman for Thin Lizzy's Live and Dangerous Tour. He was referred to as "Bluesy Huey Lewis". I saw him a few years later, circa 82 or 83 in the Old Salt Palace and then a couple of years ago at a 4th of July show. He still can sing and play the harp!

Going to see him on the Cape next week. The Melody Tent is a great venue for a show if anybody ever has the chance to go.

I saw him a couple of times years ago during the "Heart of Rock n Roll" period. Like everyone says, he put on a GREAT show. Have fun, I'd love to see him again somewhere, too bad I can't make it to the Melody Tent!

about 30 yeas ago, give or take a few, huey and company played in a small popular bar in campbell, ca. which borders san jose, ca. i'm not sure i ever saw him there, because i wondered....what is a huey lewis and the news...
:D :) :o :-? 8) :P   :pirate:

any way years later, i was at the...at & t golf tourny in pebble beach near monterey, ca. and came upon a group of golfers that included huey. i didn't know if you could talk to the celebrities, much less ask for an autograph, so i didn't. i think his wife and daughter were following along also. and i stil have not seen him in concert. i guess that would b my ....someday i will.....
