Believe it or not, I actually stay in very close contact with THREE of my ex-girlfriends.
I'd also been in contact with a fourth for a while, but she disappeared somewhere in the Tampa area.
I guess, in spite of all my faults, I'm a great ex-boyfriend.

Nope.
Know of only one from my high school years, and he's turned out to be a bit of a nut case.
There are several that weren't bad breakups, but I just have no desire to bring back the past.

Are you trying to tell me I'm some sort of neurotic nut-case?

No
I only went to the HS I graduated from one year, but no long term relationships.
I had fun my senior year, but no reason to keep up with anyone....I quit going to my reunions too

I'm curious to know if they' re happy in their current relationships.... I'm curious to know if any of my old boyfriends ever think of me??? (admit it, you've wondered this as well)
Why does when a woman seek out this info, they're just
curious???
When us guys does this, we're pretty much philandering, stalker pigs who don't deserve their woman anymore?
I think your husband has the right idea here...
let sleeping dogs lie...

See, that's what I don't get... I personally think a woman can be in a happy healthy marriage, yet connect with old male friends. In fact, I'd love it if old guy friends from my past attempted to reconnect
(in a strictly platonic way, mind you.) That platonic part won't happen unless they're gay
And, on the same note, I would have no problem if my husband were to "look up" old girlfriends. I'd understand his interest in knowing what they're up to. I'd expect him, of course, to assure me that it's out of sheer curiosity; nothing more.
there's only ONE thing we're REALLY curious about!!!
Have you been watching that new show
Swingtown?

I'm still friends with my ex wife and a couple of my old GF's....they all know I'm engaged, happily monogamous and want nothing from them but friendship. I don't see them or even email them that much, just a few times a year to keep in touch.

Only 1....and that's just the occasional email....Nothing regular.
But , I'm single, and so is he.......
I do keep in touch with some people I went to High School with....Went to a very VERY small College Prep HS, and we were pretty tight....Back then, Charleston wasn't the city it is now...
Got a phone call a few weeks ago, asking for Connie (and my maiden name)....It was a girl I grew up across the street from and we were friends since we were 5 yrs old....And had many misadventures in HS together, taking off in her Mom's Pink Cadillac....
It was sooooooooo good to talk to her.
The internet has facilitated so many reunions, and meetings....
Hell, my ex husband met his current wife on eharmony.....

I should clarify-
I want ABSOLUTELY nothing from the ones I stay in contact with other than their friendship.
It's way too soon for me to even THINK of anything more.

No absolutely not. There's one that I kind of think it would be cool to say hi to again, but I am not going to act on it.

Not even a single thought...Once I met my husband, they were all history...never thought about them again. (except to tell stories about why I am no longer with them)
I wouldn't be happy if my husband started wondering about his old girlfriends. I figure I owe him the same courtesy.

I've only ever had one "bad breakup". Managed to stay in contact with all others, for a while at least.
6 years ago, I went to 3 weddings in a month. 2 were ex-GFs.
