PITTSBURGH:LIVE NATION ASKED ASK MY OPINION

Post by floodcityparrot »

Live Nation ask me my opinion about my experience at the Post Gazette Pavilion. Here was my response:

"When there are cars lining up the highway waiting to get in at 2:00pm, especially for a JIMMY BUFFETT concert, let them in. It was aweful that we had to wait so long, since you let us in last year around 1:00pm. People remember that from last year, that is why we were there so early. make up your mind!!!! It was very dangerous for us to have all those cars waiting to get in. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Make up your mind....every year its a different time. This isn't the first year he was here! You know how we Parrotheads are, you know what we bring and it would be nice to be able to set our stuff up and enjoy it, not feel rushed, which is what we felt this year. To be honest I will be very surprised if you have not received more of these types of comments. I would hope tings change for next year. BY THE WAY WHO WERE ALL THOSE PEOPLE THAT YOU ALWAYS LET IN EARLY???? "

Did anyone else respond?

I am reminded of a huge Music/air fest in Calavares County California

years back.. they printed on the tix.. "Gates open at 11 show starts at 1"

I went ... 5- 7 years??? they opened the doors at 6 AM...

Of course, LN could just enforce their typical policy and let everyone in a 4:00.
"Key West trades in on the name 'Hemingway." You can't take a leak without seeing Hemingway this and Hemingway that. And the irony is, if Hemingway were alive today he'd take a blowtorch to Duvall Street." Hiaasen

I'll type this s l o w so your lips don't hurt when you
read it...

I was sharing a " Polar opposite " this is an example of
two different times and places.. similar events but
much different results..

Pittsburg = late opening.. not good tailgating , I will guess less phun..

Calavares County = early entry , and as we were in line at 4 AM..
we had a great time.. 8) 8)

Same reason some of us respond to a thread that hasn't had too many responses. Just letting the person who started the thread that we've read it, and sorry, can't help them out with an answer.

or we may possibly hijack it and turn it into a fun thread and everyone laugh.

But then sometimes a jerk steps in and pi$$es in everyone's boat drinks

and that's about it, People ramble. Not that I've ever just posted nonsense - nope not me, I'm always in deep thought and my posts are the most stellar of posts.
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.
