I've had nothing but stellar service from Verizon...only on a very rare occasion will a call drop and it's generally when I'm driving with 90 ft. tall pines trees on both sides of the road.
It's all about your proximity to a tower...
I just have to say 2 things.....ok maybe 3

Iowa has hills? Who knew.Wino you know wrote:Yeah, I think one of the problems here is that I live at the bottom of two large hills, and it's pretty tough to get a signal here.ragtopW wrote:Garry I have had Verizon for over 4 years.. I can count on one hand

Both phones have had one very maddening trait..
If I am away from home (even after I *228) ]
if I have the phone on Vibe/ring.. then I may get the
call.. or not.. and the voice message will be up to 4 hours
late..
I know your mileage may vary..
but even in the Wilds of Idaho I do well..
My work cell phone, however (U.S. Csllular) is very good, and that's one of the ones I've been thinking of getting.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
