Fla. deputies Taser Plop-Plop the unruly emu

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - Bay County Sheriff's deputies were forced to use a Taser to subdue an escaped emu named Plop-Plop. The large female bird escaped from a farm last weekend and on Monday, she holed up with some horses and goats in a pen.

hey we had a emu escape from the field across the fence from the school and got on the playground.....I thought it was great!!!
The custodian was scared of it and he wouldn't let me go out on the playground.

He finally called animal control to come get it

My father said a guy in his village ticked off this elephant and the villagers had to get the authorities to calm it down. It was terrifying.

She's right....I've seen it....People drive up and honk their horns and watch the goats faint....just for fun.
