Gave birth..... Really.... All of a sudden you're totally responsible for a helpless human being.....

And climbed to the top of the mast on the US Coast Guard Cutter Barque Eagle.

- Skydived solo (static line) from 3,500 ft., and landed smoothly on my feet

- Snow-skiied down Double-Barrel (a double black diamond run) at Heavenly Valley in Lake Tahoe (my first day there)
- Raced a motorcycle in local District 38 desert off-road race. (Plaster City '86)

A friend told me the first time didn't count as I didn't know what to expect and I had to do it again ....

Not sure if that was daring or stupid...

And I am terrified of heights.....

I guess my most daring thing was learning to SCUBA dive when I was about 26 and had moved to Mount Pleasant, S.C., near a SCUBA store. We did our certification dive in the murky Cooper River, with about 12 inch visibility. That was the daring part. When you stretched your arm out you couldn't see your fingers! I went to the bottom and picked up a huge shark tooth the size of my hand, the likes of which I've seen in displays since for sale for $1,000. I dropped it when an eel came at me from the murkiness, a huge eel like you see in aquariums hiding in the rocks.

That was my last time I went SCUBA diving. Not that I wouldn't again, I just didn't know anyone who would dive with me. Now, I'd have to relearn everything.

Last night after the football game we went to the Phyrst for some beers...I introduced myself to the President of Penn State as Cory "F-ing" Merryman...and i told him to remember my name because im going to be a legend.....

hes doing great...hes plays the wash board at the phryst every saturday night after the games...i guess its only appropriate that i would meet him at a bar downtown...

and connie...it was definitely recieved...i dont know how funny he thought i was but oh well...

i dont think he will forget meeting me
