It don't pay enough and I wouldn't put up with the partisan BS for more than about half a second.

... but if it's change that you want, I might just be your man. :pirate:

I'll exempt myself since I happened to run across the quote online right before I dropped in here. I think the "astute observer" has a ghost writer.

A state that produces 20% of our nation's energy?
I won't even bring up the fact that she took on the corrupt republican establishment in that STATE and WON, defeating an INCUMBENT Republican governor.
Tell me again what Obama's done?
For starters, how about Obama has sat on the Senate Foreign Relations committee the past 4 years. What foreign policy experience does Sarah Palin have?

Obama selected Biden to fill his lack of experience in foreign affairs hole in his resume. Not Much sure it is a biased Faux News article but they can't just print complete lies. Amazing that someone that sat 4 years on the senate foreign relations committee hadn't been to Iraq until challenged by his opponent. Wow if you are going to compare Barack to Palin pick something he has experience in to show how he is a better candidate. Like community activism and expanding the social welfare system.

So you are saying that Palin and Obama have the same amount of foreign policy experience? I'll admit that Obama is light on experience but you can't make the claim that Palin is more experienced.

And Obama went to Iraq once before the trip in July. So that's not true that he didn't go until challenged by his opponent.

So he was the European Relations chairman. If our relations with europe are so bad why no hearings? and yes I am saying he has the same foreign relations as Palin...none.

But why are people spending so much time comparing Obama to Palin? He's the candidate for President, she for VP. We should be comparing Obama's experience to McCain's, and Biden's to Palin's. Or at least ticket to ticket. But to compare POTUS candidate to VP candidate doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me....

That's ridiculous. He's traveled abroad, met with world leaders. He's actually had to think about foreign policy, and take positions on foreign policy issues. Here's what Palin said: "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq."

Because the McCain campaign was making Obama's lack of experience the number one issue... remember "not ready to lead"? Then he picks a VP nominee who is probably the most inexperienced person ever to be on a major party ticket. She'll be one heartbeat away from the presidency, and John McCain is 72 years old and has had cancer twice. So I think it is fair to make the comparisons when it was the McCain campaign that had been making the election about experience.

Have you seen this interview?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pak-rH0dCeA

A couple of things struck me......

One.....she's shaking her head "no" while she's saying she welcomes the investigation......classic sign of deception.....

Two....her statement at about 3:05.....exactly what does the VP do....and how can it further the agenda for the State of Alaska.....bear in mind this was just a few weeks before her nomination.....

Just sayin'.........

Is it? Other than his coronation tour in 2008, please tell us when he was visiting with foreign leaders previously. Maybe the 2005 trip with Richard Luger? I gave you one now because his resume is so full of travel please provide two more. Ok I'll settle for one. Oh, do you want to discuss his attendance record at these foreign policy committees? You did not address why he hasn't had scheduled any hearings as European Relations chair. I thought Europe hated us? Weapons deployed in Poland is ok? No questions on our response to the Georgia thing?

The Troopergate scandal will continue to stay in the news. The investigation is supposed to conclude before the election, so that could be good for her or bad.

Look, you said that Palin has an equal amount of foreign policy experience as Obama. So why don't you list her foreign policy credentials? You just admitted in your post that Obama does have foreign policy experience, despite previously saying that he has none.
