No to the refund. Of course squeaky wheels will probably get face value refunded. Fees even if the show was canceled generally do not get refunded. I do wonder how many annoyed people there will be that show up for the time printed on the ticket. I have shown up for two non-Buffett shows where the ticket time was moved. Fortunately in both cases it was delays and I just had to stand outside for an hour...or two waiting for gates to open.

Is there anything on the fine print of the tickets?
As far as the Red Sox are concerned they put those games that may be changed due to TV as TBA on the tickets.

I have Boston College Football tickets and none of those tickets even have a time on them, just the date.

I'm not a lawyer...but I bet we should be eligble.
Why?

Anyone get an email about this from the Comcast center?

If not for BN I'd be planning on no changes.

Jump off the fence and get up here!! How many people can say they went to a JB show on the day of a tropical storm?? :D
Thats true, as C-Dawg mentioned before, I also have a feeling JB will pull out something special for this show. What if the power goes out? I bet the guy would sit on that stage with his Martin and sing acoustic all night.

Now I am talking myself into it
Come on up Mike!!!!!

I voted No!!! The concert same day and I traveled a day before, in CT now and heading to Foxboro.

Why should any of us care if they do give refunds. It is not like money is coming out of our pockets.

I'd hope that with a tropical storm on the horizon, everyone with a ticket would have enough sense to check with the venue, Margaritaville, or SOMEWHERE to make sure the show was still scheduled as planned, therefore eliminating that potential mistake.

Yup, exactly. But I bet they won't even consider this a reschedule. It's just a time change on the same day. It's not like they can control the weather.

Not all for baseball....i've seen them bump a game to the ESPN game when origionally scheduled for a 2pm start...and i've seen them bump it back!!!...and Football with the flex scheduling for prime time games does it a lot toward the end of the season!!..ánd didn't LSU just last week have to move there game time up to a Morning game!!...and yo are right on the college football....my UCONN tickets do the same TBA!!!

Nope, it should say rain or shine on the ticket. I once saw Jimmy in the rain at Alpine Valley. Good show though...

Part of me wants to see a Jimmy Buffett show in a tropical storm. I'd like to see him put on the rain slicker and swim googles....

No, what for? I've been to concerts that changed venues. After 9/11 dates were changed no refunds were given. I'm with Larry on this one.

No, they are not entitled to give a refund, the show is happening the day they said it would.

While I think their logic for rescheduling makes no sense, if they are concerned about safety then cancel the show but I digress, they have every right to change the start time of the show for any reason they choose.
