Back in my supermarket days, there was a customer who used to shop with his son every Sunday morning. They'd walk around the store eating a box of cookies as they shopped. When they got to the register, they had the empty box with them and paid for it separate from the rest of the order. The guy's wife was a health food fanatic and that was the only time they got to have cookies.

I'm 56 years old, I don't think I can last that long.

Oh, you mean in and out of the store. Never mind.

Whenever I'm patrolling in the Coral Ridge or Lantern Park areas, I always make it a point to specifically LOOK for these self-centered MORONS and ticket their vehicles, then wait for them to come to me p*ssing & moaning with their sad-a$$ excuses.

They never fail to provide me with some of the best comic relief since my 400-pound cousin became stuck in the revolving door at his bank in 1996.

One time, about eight years ago, I noticed some young early 20-something frat-brat bas--rd parking his red Mazda Miata (no doubt bought for him by Mom & Dad) parking in a handicap space at a strip mall.

I instructed him to move his vehicle or it would be cited ($100.00 fine back then).
He got a little lippy with me and said he didn't see any handicapped people fighting to get into that space.

Then I laid it out for him-
I told him to move his car or he WOULD be handicapped.

Of course, he went crying to my boss.
(Make that my FORMER boss-he left the department in 2003 and now sells used cars).
