If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Repost, Sorry:
Just got back from the Mohegan Sun opening.
Set List:
Piece of Work
License to Chill
Five O'clock Somewhere
Changes
Son of a Son
Volcano
Cheeseburger
Come Monday
Brown Eyed Girl
Harbour
Pirate
Fins
Margaritaville
Last Mango
Now for the even better news. Pics a plenty, I'll get those soon, but....
I just copied these off of the set list given to me by the band AND...
One of Jimmy's picks. He is using picks from his 2007 Bama Breeze Tour (may as well use them up).
Great Time.

Yep... it's the biggest charity event on the tour. How could he not be a part of that?SMLCHNG wrote:Dezdmona wrote:He should come to TEXAS...then we'll notice.SMLCHNG wrote:Some of you that went may have also seen phjim, and didn't know it.![]()

Wife needs to do the whole picture thing.
As a side, retort to one of my past posts.
People here were great!!! I got a full picture of Jimmy from head to barefoot. How did I go about it? I asked the three rows in front of me if I could walk up and take a picture. Everyone moved aside and then I moved back to my spot. It is/was unreal how great it is to see a concert with everyone there for the same reason (well except for the upper balcony that didn't sing one song the whole night).
Thank you to all those there, this was a great trip for me.
Now I hope that I can somehow get the downloads.

Oh wait.....
Hope you had fun Jim. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving guy.
Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.
I accept the new found man, and I set the twilight reeling.

What do you mean by "cards" Tickets? Did they just walk up to Margaritaville Mohegan Sun and ask?chad3 wrote:Yes, won them from radiomargaritaville. Made sure I thanked them at the show. Best deal was 2 in the crowd that actually got cards by asking for them. It was a great Parothead show. Even a few 'keets.
Chad
Was there a good crowd outside of Margaritaville? I imagine you could still see a bit through the glass correct?
I faxed my entry every day, went down the to put an entry in the box... Even tried radio tix at 6:00am one morning... but wasnt my lucky day!
Glad you got to check it out.

I heard there wasn't a huge crowd outside..they had to keep the walkways open between the restaurant and the gaming tables.........you could hear and see ..but they couldn't hear him talk.....as far as getting them from Margaritaville that day...i would be shocked....because of a couple of couples i saw tried and got denied.jsb5776 wrote:What do you mean by "cards" Tickets?
