And prolly none of the higher ups will spend a day in jail...or even be charged with anything.
Why would they? We lack any sense of accoutability in this country.
Well they sent Martha Stewart to jail for her heinous crimes.... :-?
Sending her to jail was the STUPIDEST thing since O.J. the murdering bast--d was found not guilty.
Has anyone heard how his current trial is going?
Just that he's "worried."

Good point. Street cred to Martha for doing the time for the crime.
What is ironic about Martha is that if she had held on to the stock for a year longer she would have made more money than she lost by bailing out when she did. The other part is that you look at all the guys who swindled the stock and bond markets for BILLIONS of dollars and most of them received shorter and lighter sentences, frequently with any jail time. One might assume that it was because they could afford to hire more attorneys or one might guess it was based on the fact that Martha was a woman who was outspoke and successful. I will let you be the judge.

Martha was a stockbroker and officer of the New York Stock Exchange before beginning her current career path. Some argue that her sentence was light.

... and yes the stock increased in value after she sold her shares based on insider information.
