Billy Joel 1978 concert on PBS sure it is beg-a-thon time but this is when he was great. It's better than nanny swap or wife nanny or whatever else is on.

I saw this one earlier on my local PBS station. I've seen Billy Joel a bunch of times in the 90s (including a big one at Yankee Stadium) but never in his early years. It was great to see this oldie but goodie.

Saw him a lot in the 80s and 90s. Always a great show. We're not getting the Billy Joel show but I'll have to keep an eye out for it.

I enjoyed it. I am one of the crazies that thinks that 52nd Street was his last good album. So is was neat to see a show without his newer stuff.

We caught it too. It was very nice.
